This draft Mexican Official Standard establishes the general design and manufacturing requirements for non-portable liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) containers subject to pressure, not exposed to heating by artificial means and intended for use in storage facilities, LPG filling stations and end-user LPG installations, as fuel tanks for internal combustion engines and in the transport of LPG by road tankers, trailers and semi-trailers, as well as the corresponding conformity assessment procedure.
