Description

This draft Mexican Official Standard establishes the general safety requirements governing the design, construction and reconstruction of road tankers used to transport compressed gas (Ministry of Communications and Transport Specification SCT 331), including the basic vehicle integrity checks to which new and used road tankers will be subject to verify that they are in compliance with this Specification. This draft Standard is mandatory for builders and rebuilders of road tankers in relation to design, construction and reconstruction; transporters of hazardous substances, materials and wastes by road tanker will be responsible for maintaining the original integrity of their vehicles.
