Type "A", "B" and "C" gaming machines, which are defined as follows: TYPE "A" MACHINES:  Amusement and recreation machines which, in exchange for payment of the game price, offer users a certain length of playing time without any kind of prize, either in cash or as points exchangeable for objects or cash.  This category includes machines which offer players an additional incentive, based on their skill, in the form of the opportunity to continue playing for the same price, either as an extension of the initial game or additional games. TYPE "B" MACHINES:  Machines which, in exchange for payment of the game price, offer users a certain length of playing time and, depending on the game programme, a possible cash prize, the value of which may not exceed the statutory limit. TYPE "C" MACHINES:  Machines which, in accordance with statutory characteristics and limits and in exchange for payment of a given stake, offer users a certain length of playing time and a possible cash prize. Winning always depends on chance;  to this end, chance shall be understood to mean that the result of a game does not depend on combinations or on previous or subsequent results
