Description
The regulation contains provisions concerning national type-approval of vehicles. The new regulation replaces the existing provisions concerning type-approval according to the former Vehicle Decree (1972:595). The following important changes have been introduced: · The provisions are similar to EC type-approval of whole vehicles. · The Swedish National Road Administration will issue type-approval. · Type-approval can only be issued to the manufacturer. · The manufacturer must have a quality assurance system that has been checked and approved. · The production will be subject to regular inspections.
