Description
The draft regulation specifies requirements on the design and equipment of tractors. The new regulation replaces the existing regulation VVFS 1993:1. The basic rules regarding design and equipment of vehicles in the former Vehicle Decree (1972:595) and the sections regarding design and equipment of vehicles in the Military Road Traffic Decree (1974:97) have been incorporated in the regulation. Technical provisions in EC-directives have been introduced on some areas where there previously were no requirements. The regulation contains provisions regarding new as well as old vehicles which have been brought into use with regard to the transitional provisions given in the Vehicle Decree.
