Description

I.	Clauses 13 of the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No.78) 	B.E.2527(1984) Ice dated 16 January B.E.2527(1984) is withdrawn and replaced by 	the following statement:	 	"Clause 13 Labelling of ice 	(1)	shall conform to the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health regarding 		labelling, except for Clauses 3 and 5 of the Notification of the Ministry of 		Public Health (No.194) B.E. 2543(2000) Labelling dated 19 September 			B.E.2543(2000) amended by the Notification (No.2) dated 30 May 			B.E.2545(2002) which shall conform to this notification; 	(2)	label of ice sold to consumer shall contain information in Thai, may also be 		accompanied by foreign language, and shall contain the following 			statements: 		(2.1)	Name of food (if any); 		(2.2)	Food serial number; 		(2.3)	The statement "Consumable Ice" in blue letters; 		(2.4)	Name and address of manufacturer, repacker for locally produced 			ice, name and address of importer and country of origin for 				imported ice, as the case may be.  As for locally produced ice, the 			label may display name and address of head office address of the 			manufacturer or repacker; 		(2.5)	Net content in metric system. 	(3)	label of ice which is not sold to consumer shall contain information in Thai, 		except for imported ice which may be labelled in English language, and 			shall at least contain the following statements: 		(3.1)	Name of food (if any); 		(3.2)	The wording "Consumable Ice" in blue letters or "Non Consumable 			Ice" in red letters, as the case may be; 		(3.3)	Name and address of manufacturer or repacker for locally produced 			food, name and address of importer and country of origin for 				imported food, as the case may be.  As for locally produced food, 			the label may display name and address of head office address of 			the manufacturer or repacker." II.	Manufacturers or importers who received licences prior to the enforcement of this 	ministerial notification must apply for correction within 60 days after this 	notification comes into force.  Upon submitted the application, the former labels 	can still be valid for not more than 180 days.
