Description
This draft Philippine National Standard specifies the characteristics of steel of commercial, lock-forming and structural qualities coated by a continuous hot-dip aluminum/zinc alloy coating process. The aluminum/zinc alloy composition by mass in nominally 55% aluminum, 1.6% silicon and the balance zinc. The product is intended for applications where the corrosion characteristics of aluminum coupled with those of zinc are desired.
