Description

This conformity assessment procedure (CAP) establishes a methodology designed to facilitate the task of and provide guidance for inspection units and users of electrical energy as regards compliance with the technical requirements laid down in Mexican Official Standard NOM-013-ENER-1996 on Energy Efficiency for Lighting Systems on Roads and Highways and Building Exteriors, when the total connected load, including lighting, is 20 kW or more.  The aim of this CAP is to save energy by making efficient use thereof and to conserve natural resources, within the framework of the Federal Law on Metrology and Standardization and its regulations.
