Description
La norma tiene por finalidad establecer las ampacidades para cuatro diferentes resistencias de pantalla por cada tamaño del conductor, en cables de potencia de 15kV a 69 kV con conductores de cobre o aluminio. Por no existir norma internacional, se ha tomado en consideración la norma NEMA WC 50: 1989 Ampicities, including effect of shield losses for single conductor solid dielectric power cable 15 kV through 69 kV, siendo no equivalente a la misma al tener desviaciones mayores consistentes en agregar los cables de cobre en los gráficos de razones de pérdida en función de la resistencia.
