Description

The document is drafted in conformity with the requirements of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1148/2001, except for the articles that are applicable only to EU Member States.  The harmonization document covers the rules of conformity to mandatory marketing standards for fruit and vegetables at all stages of marketing to ensure that all fresh fruits and vegetables being supplied to Lithuanian market be sorted, packed, divided into quality classes and marked in compliance with marketing standards or with the standards at least equivalent to them.  Each packaging of the products intended for processing must bear relevant marking.  Designation of the product shall be indicated in the accompanying document of the goods.
