Certain types of foods for which food serial number is required on the label are as follows:  (1)	Food Colour	(16)	Palm oil (2)	Cow's Milk	(17)	Coconut oil (3)	Flavoured Milk	(18)	Peanut oil (4)	Milk Products	(19)	Chocolate (5)	Food Enhancers	(20)	Fortified rice (6)	Sour Milk	(21)	Butter (7)	Ice		(22)	Fermented Egg (8)	Food Additives	(23)	Ghee (9)	Food for Weight Control	(24)	Husked Rice Flour (10)	Food in Sealed Container	(25)	Food for Special Purpose (11)	Modified Milk for Infant and 	(26)	Processed Agar and Jelly 	Young Children	(27)	Garlic products (12)	Modified Food for Infant and Young	(28)	Food containing substances 	Children		Used to Preserve Quality (13)	Supplementary Food for Infant and 		or Standard in Containers  	Young Children		thereof (14)	Drinking Water in Sealed Container	(29)	Food containing Aloe Vera (15)	Ice-Cream	(30)	Chewing gum and candy (31)	Bread (32)	Flavouring Agent (33)	Cooking Brine (34)	Irradiated Food  Licences for food registration or food labelling issued prior to the enforcement of this ministerial notification will be valid for not more than 2 years.  Producers or importers who received licences prior to the enforcement of this ministerial notification must apply for food serial number within one year after this ministerial notification comes into force.  Upon submitting the application, the former labels can still be valid for not more than 2 years.
