Description
The Notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No.160) B.E.2538(1995) Re: Display of Label of Food Containing Aloe dated 17 February B.E.2538(1995) is withdrawn. This ministerial notification prescribes that in relation to labelling, food containing aloe shall conform to the Notification of the Ministry of Public Health regarding Labelling and the notifications especially issued for such food. The label of food containing aloe shall contain additional following statements: “Should not be taken by children”, “Not medical food” and “Stop consumption when there appears abnormal symptoms”, in red letters of a size not smaller than 2 mm which must be clearly visible in a rectangular frame and the colour of the frame shall be in contrast with that of the label background. Licences for food labelling issued prior to the enforcement of this ministerial notification will still be valid for not more than 2 years. Producers or importers who received licences prior to the enforcement of this ministerial notification must apply for food serial number within one year after this ministerial notification comes into force. Upon submitting the application, the former labels can still be valid for not more than 2 years.
