Description

The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) has proposed to enforce TIS 909-2532(1989) as a compulsory standard. The standard applies to current-operated earth-leakage circuit breakers having rated voltage not exceeding 500 V, rated frequency not exceeding 60 Hz and rated current not exceeding 125 A. Specifies types, rating (e.g. rated voltage, rated tripping fault current, etc.).  Prescribes requirements for marking durability, protection against electric shock and terminal, watertightness, insulation resistance, voltage resistance, fault-current release capacity and short-circuit.  Includes marking, labelling, sampling and criteria for conformity, testing.
