Description

The present Regulation is based on the Decree exemption protected animal and plant species (notification G/TBT/Notif.00/345) and must be read in conjunction with the Regulation exemption protected animal and plant species (submitted for notification simultaneously with the present Regulation). The latter Regulation contains exemptions from the bans in the Flora and Fauna Act, including Article 13. With regard to the exemptions for bred birds, one of the conditions that applies is that these birds must be provided with a closed leg-ring  or another marking. The present Regulation gives further rules concerning technical specifications, the application and issue of said leg-rings and other markings.
