Description

Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) has proposed to enforce TIS 2067-2544 (2001) as a mandatory standard.  This standard covers types, classes, dimensions and tolerances of manual closing faucets for sink and manual and self-closing faucets for wash basins.  Specifies water flow rate not exceeding 6 dm3 at pressure 0.1 Mpa with maximum working pressure 0.75 Mpa for manual closing faucets, average water volume not exceeding 0.5 dm3 per time, average water discharging time not less than 3  seconds per time at pressure 0.10-0.30 Mpa with minimum working pressure 0.10 Mpa and maximum working pressure 0.75 Mpa for self-closing faucets.  Prescribes requirements for pressure resistance, water flow rate (manual closing faucets only), performances, durability.  Includes packaging, marking and labelling, sampling and criteria for conformity and testing.
