Description

In accordance with article 51 of the Federal Law on Metrology and Standardization, and as a result of technological progress made by companies manufacturing lubricating oils at the international level, new categories of lubricating oils have been developed. Given that these are made and sold in Mexico, the draft changes are being made in order to add the new categories of lubricating oil available on the market;  to make drafting changes to certain paragraphs with a view to improving clarity of application; and to remove subparagraphs i and ii of section (e) of paragraph 4.2.2 and Mexican Standard NMX-069-SCFI, of chapter 2 "References".
