Description

Drinking Water in Sealed Containers is required to be processed in accordance with specified production methods, tools and equipment used in the production and storage process. Good Manufacturing Practices for Drinking Water in Sealed Containers, which covers the following items, shall be applied : Premises and production buildings; Tool, machinery and equipment used in the production process; Water resource; Water treatment; Containers; Cleaning and sanitizing agents; Filling; Quality control; Sanitation; Personnel and personal hygiene; Record keeping. Manufacturers shall comply with these arrangements. Importers shall provide certificates of satisfaction of these arrangements or with a level not lower than these arrangements. Those who received licences for food production or food registration or food labelling prior to the enforcement of this ministerial notification, which do not comply with this ministerial notification, shall provide for improvement or certificates, as the case may be, within 2 years from the date of entry into force.
