Description

The Notification of Ministry of Public Health (No.81) B.E.2527(1984) Labelling for Bread dated 17 February 1984 is withdrawn. Good Manufacturing Practice shall be applied for production of bread in sealed container. In addition, this ministerial notification prescribes that all bread in sealed container shall be labelled. The label shall contain information in Thai language on food classification number; name and address of a manufacturer, repacker or importer as the case may be; net content of food in metric system; essential ingredients in percentage of weight; the statement “preservatives used” (if used), expiry date, date, month and year within which food remains in good quality.  Licences for food labelling issued prior to the enforcement of this ministerial notification will be valid for 2 years.  Producers or importers who received licences prior to the enforcement of this ministerial notification must apply for licences within one year after this ministerial notification comes into force. Upon submitting the application, the former labels can still be valid for 2 years.
