Description

This ministerial regulation prescribes as follows:  1.	Safety glass used for windscreen and other components of vehicles body shall be:  	1)	Approved by Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI);  or 	2)	Complied with regulations of UN/ECE on safety glazing and glazing materials.  2.	Motor vehicle manufactured or assembled in Thailand from 1 July B.E.2545(2002) shall be enforced to use laminated safety glass for windscreens. 3.	Imported motor vehicle if its windscreen and other glass components of vehicles body do not comply with Article 1 and its windscreen is not made of laminated safety glass shall be subject to the approval from the Department of Land Transport. 4.	Safety glass installed in the motor vehicle registered prior to the effective date of this regulation shall be used until the end of it condition.
