Description
This standard specifies the requirements for hot-rolled plain and deformed steel bars derived from billets or ingots used for concrete reinforcement. Hot-rolled weldable deformed steel bars are intended for special applications where welding or bending, or both, are of importance. The scope of this standard excludes hot-rolled weldable plain steel bars. This PNS 49:2000 is a re-issuance of PNS 49:1992, which is a mandatory standard.
