Description

The Buildings Decree contains regulations for buildings to be built and existing buildings.  It is not necessary to comply with a similar regulation if the building or relevant part thereof offers, in another way, safety, protection of health, usability, energy efficiency and protection of the environment to at least the same extent as is intended by the regulation in question (Article 1.5 of the equivalency provision).  The document in question concerns the conversion of the current Buildings Decree (Bulletin of Acts and Decrees 1991, no 680), involving far-reaching changes to the system and construction of the current decree.  In principle, no amendments as regards contents are involved other than that which is mentioned in 1.4 of the explanatory memorandum.
