Description

The Notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No.49) B.E.2523(1980) Cream dated 4 March B.E.2523(1980) is withdrawn.  Good Manufacturing Practice shall be applied for production of cream. In addition, this notification prescribes the following items: (1)	Classification Cream is classified into 5 types, i.e.,  -	Half cream; -	Cream or single cream; -	Whipping cream; -	Double cream or heavy cream or thick cream; -	Sour cream. (2)	Quality or standards, i.e. made from milk, butterfat content, acidity, use non-toxic gas in whipping cream process, free from Escherichia coli, rancid odour, preservative agents, toxic microorganisms, toxin from microorganisms in the content which may be harmful to health. (3)	Containers (4)	Labelling Licenses for food registration or food labelling issued prior to the enforcement of this ministerial notification will be valid for 2 years. Producers or importers who received licenses prior to the enforcement of this ministerial notification must apply for licenses within one year after this ministerial notification comes into force.  Upon submitting the application, the former labels can still be valid for 2 years.
