The regulations pertain to cooling plant containing refrigerants which are - either wholly or partly - made up of substances or preparations referred to in the appendix to the Decree governing substances which affect the ozone layer. The regulations also concern cooling plant containing incompletely halogenated hydrocarbon compounds with no more than three carbon atoms (HCFCs) with only chlorine and fluorine and no bromine or also incompletely halogenated hydrocarbon compounds with no more than two carbon atoms (HFCs) with only fluorine, or preparations thereof.
