Description

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or the Agency) is extending the comment period for the proposed rule entitled "Requirements for Tobacco Product Manufacturing Practice'' published in the Federal Register of 10 March 2023, by 30 days. The Agency is taking this action in response to a request for an extension to allow interested persons additional time to submit comments.FDA is extending the comment period on the proposed rule published 10 March 2023 (88 FR 15174), by 30 days. Either electronic or written comments must be submitted by 6 October 2023.This extension of comment period and the proposed rule notified as G/TBT/N/USA/1971 are identified by Docket Number FDA-2013-N-0227. The Docket Folder is available on Regulations.gov at https://www.regulations.gov/docket/FDA-2013-N-0227/document and provides access to primary and supporting documents as well as comments received. Documents are also accessible from Regulations.gov by searching the Docket Number. WTO Members and their stakeholders are asked to submit comments to the USA TBT Enquiry Point.
