The notified draft Protocol establishes the certification procedure for elastomer gaskets intended for gas appliances and equipment, in accordance with the scope and field of application indicated in Spanish Standard UNE EN 549:2020. It will not apply to gaskets that already form part of gas appliances; in this case, the requirements established for those appliances in the respective protocols must be met.
