TITLE: New Source Performance Standards for the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry and National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry and Group I & II Polymers and Resins Industry; Extension of Comment PeriodAGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)ACTION: Proposed rule; extension of public comment periodSUMMARY: On 25 April 2023, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed a rule titled "New Source Performance Standards for the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry and National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for the Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry and Group I & II Polymers and Resins Industry." The EPA is extending the comment period on this proposed rule that currently closes on 26 June 2023, by 11 days. The comment period will now remain open until 7 July 2023, to allow additional time for stakeholders to review and comment on the proposal.DATES: The public comment period for the proposed rule published in the Federal Register (FR) on 25 April 2023 (88 FR 25080), originally ending 26 June 2023, is being extended by 11 days. Written comments must now be received on or before 7 July 2023.This extension of public comment period to the proposed rule notified as G/TBT/N/USA/1995 is identified by Docket Number EPA-HQ-OAR-2022-0730. The Docket Folder is available on Regulations.gov at https://www.regulations.gov/docket/EPA-HQ-OAR-2022-0730/document and provides access to primary and supporting documents as well as comments received. Documents are also accessible from Regulations.gov by searching the Docket Number. WTO Members and their stakeholders are asked to submit comments to the USA TBT Enquiry Point. Comments received by the USA TBT Enquiry Point from WTO Members and their stakeholders by 4pmEastern Time on 7 July 2023 will be shared with the regulator and will also be submitted to the Docket on Regulations.gov if received within the comment period.
