65.080 - Fertilizers

The notified draft Regulation establishes provisions to regulate activities relating to the life cycle of fertilizers and like substances from a sustainable soil management perspective. The provisions also seek to promote the competitiveness and sustainability of domestic agriculture and to improve food and nutrition security and food safety with a view to ensuring the safety, quality and efficient use of fertilizers and like substances and minimizing their adverse health and environmental impacts.
