Equipment for use outdoors (cleaning equipment, construction equipment, gardening equipment, loading and lifting equipment, power generators and cooling equipment, pumping and suction equipment, snowmobiles and snow groomers, waste collection, processing and recycling equipment) listed in Articles 12 and 13 and defined in Annex I to the Directive.

17.140.20 - Noise emitted by machines and equipment

This proposal amends the methods to measure airborne noise emitted by equipment for use outdoors laid down in Annex III of Directive 2000/14/EC, which manufacturers need to comply with for the design and the conformity assessment of outdoor equipment.
