Products covered: Lamps in general (ICS 29.140.01)This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 196 /2023 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 7823-1 " energy efficiency for electrical lamps and luminaires – part 1: energy efficiency requirements for electrical lamps"; (25 page(s), in Arabic).This standard cancels and supersedes 7823/2014 and 7823/2020.
