Description

The draft Order provides for the approval of the Procedure for submission information on cosmetic products.The draft Order is developed to establish the mechanism for submitting information on cosmetic products and the procedure for the formation and maintenance of the System for electronic submitting information on cosmetic products, which is an information and communication network that ensures the collection, accumulation, protection, accounting, display, processing of data and provision of information on cosmetic products.The draft Order is developed in accordance with paragraph 31 of the Technical Regulation on Cosmetic Products, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 65 of 20 January 2021  (notified in documents G/TBT/N/UKR/145 and G/TBT/N/UKR/145/Add.2)  and Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 of European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products.Cosmetic products placed on the Ukrainian market shall be safe for human health under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use. Information on cosmetic products in the System shall certify the absence of components prohibited for use in cosmetic products.
