This SASO DS IEC 63057:2023 standard is a modified adoption of International Standard IEC 63057:2020, (Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes - Safety requirements for secondary lithium batteries for use in road vehicles not for the propulsion). Standard has been varied as indicated to take account of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia conditions. The modifications are specified in Annex A.
