the draft Order approves the Technical Regulation establishing requirements for energy labelling and additional information on products relating to light sources with or without integrated control gear. The requirements also apply to light sources placed on the market as part of a product.The draft of the Technical Regulation is developed in order to regulate the requirements for energy labelling of light sources in accordance with the updated EU legislation, as well as to provide consumers with information on the level of energy efficiency of light sources and additional information that will enable consumers to choose the most energy efficient products.The draft of the Technical Regulation corresponds to Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2015 of 11 March 2019 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1369 of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to energy labelling of light sources and repealing Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 874/2012. Currently, in Ukraine operates the Technical Regulation on Energy Labelling of Electric Lamps and Luminaires, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 340 of 27 May 2015, which was developed on the basis of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 874/2012 of 12 July 2012 supplementing Directive 2010/30/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to energy labelling of electrical lamps and luminaires (repealed). After this Order enters into force, the Technical Regulation on Energy Labelling of Electric Lamps and Luminaires, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 340 of 27 May 2015, will be cancelled.The draft Order also stipulates that light sources, which meet the requirements of the Technical Regulation on Energy Labelling of Electric Lamps and Luminaires, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 340 of 27 May 2015, and placed on the market before the entry into force of this Order, may not be prohibited or restricted due to non-compliance of such light sources with the requirements of the Technical Regulation approved by this Order.
