Description
The Ministerial Decree No. 502 /2023 gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian standard ES 8696 which specifies requirements for mains socket-outlet mounted nightlights for use with electric light sources, on supply voltages not exceeding 250 V AC 50/60 Hz. Worth mentioning is that this standard adopts the technical content of IEC 60598-2-12:2013
