Description

The revision of the Mandatory Standard, SI 900 part 2.5, dealing with dishwashers, was published in Israel's Official Gazette, Section of Government Notice, on 7 February 2024 and entered into force immediately.Nevertheless, both the old edition and the newly revised standard will apply until 7 August 2024. During this time, products may be tested according to both editions.The requirements of all sections of the newly revised standard shall be mandatory except for the following:Sub-sections 7.201, 7.202, 7.203, 7.204, and 7.205 of section 7 "Marking and instructions";Sub-section 10.201 dealing with energy efficiency;Sub-section 10.202 dealing with the quality of dishwashing;Sub-section 10.203 dealing with the quality of the drying;Section 204 dealing with the energy consumption, water consumption, the quality of dishwashing, and the quality of drying;Section 205 dealing with the power consumption in standby mode.
