Description
The Ministerial Decree No. 502 /2023 gives producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian standard ES 8697 which specifies requirements for ground recessed luminaries incorporating electric light sources for operation from supply voltages up to 1 000 V, for indoor or outdoor use, e.g. in gardens, yards, carriageways, parking lots, cycle ways, footways, pedestrian areas, swimming pools areas outside zones for SELV, nurseries and similar applicationsWorth mentioning is that this standard adopts the technical content of IEC 60598-2-13:2006+AMD1:2011+AMD2:2016 CSV
