Interim final rule; request for comment - The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is taking interim final action on corrections and clarifications to the new source performance standards (NSPS) for electric arc furnaces and argon-oxygen decarburization vessels in the steel industry. The corrections and clarifications are being made to address unintended and inadvertent errors in the recently finalized standards.This interim final rule is effective on 14 February 2024. Comments on this rule must be received on or before 15 March 2024.Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 60This interim final rule and previous actions notified under the symbol G/TBT/N/USA/1863 are identified by Docket Number EPA-HQ-OAR-2002-0049.
