Description
The draft Ministerial Regulation mandates electric irons to conform to the Thai Industrial Standard TIS 60335-2(3):2567(2024) Household and Similar Electrical Appliances - Safety - Part 2-3: Particular Requirements for Electric Irons.This standard covers electric dry irons, electric steam irons and those with a separate water reservoir or boiler having a capacity not exceeding 5 l, for household and similar purposes, with a rated voltage not exceeding 250 V, including those operating on direct current, or battery power.TIS 60335-2(3):2567(2024) is identical to IEC 60335-2-3 Edition 7.0 (2022-10) Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-3: Particular requirements for electric irons.
