The draft Ministerial Regulation mandates carbon steel wire rods for cold heading to conform to the Thai Industrial Standard TIS 2243–2564 (2021) Carbon Steel Wire Rods for Cold Heading.This standard specifies grades, nominal diameter, tolerances, chemical composition, appearance, marking and labelling, sampling and test methods for carbon steel wire rods for cold heading for making nut, screw, bolt, washer and others.
