Boverket suggests new mandatory provisions and general recommendations for the load-bearing capacity, stability and durability of construction works.The suggested mandatory provisions and general recommendations are precisions to Chapter 3, Section 7 of the Planning and Building Ordinance (2011:388) that a construction works must be designed and constructed in such a way that the impact to which the structure is likely subjected when being built or used does not lead to the following: 1. complete or partial collapse of the construction works; 2. unacceptable major deformations; 3. damage to other parts of the construction works, its installations or fixed equipment due to major deformations of the load-bearing structure; or 4. damage that is not in proportion with the incident that caused the damage.Unofficial translations will be available in the TRIS-database.
