G/TBT/N/ECU/544/Add.1 - 2 -   The Republic of Ecuador hereby notifies the second revision (2R) of Ecuadorian Technical Regulation PRTE No. 217: "Personal protective equipment used to prevent falls from a height". It should be noted that, with respect to this Regulation, Ecuador has followed all the transparency and notification guidelines determined by the WTO, and that therefore, on 1 July 2024 in document G/TBT/N/ECU/544, the draft second revision (2R) of Ecuadorian Technical Regulation PRTE No. 217: "Personal protective equipment used to prevent falls from a height" was notified for 60 days on the WTO ePing platform for comments. No comments were received during this period.
